FRIEND ZONE 101.

Image
Photo from narps.net (Post by Jayjay)     So, last week someone asked who friend zones the most, guys or girls. Due to experience I said guys and I gave reasons. For me there are 4 zones that your friend of the opposite sex can place you in (if you’re straight). 1.        FRIEND ZONE:  This is the most common of all zones. It’s easy especially when the other person is in a relationship or not in the mood for one.

All I hear these days from teenage girls like myself are "my husband must be rich","if he doesn't have money,I'm not getting married to him".A few of them even hate on Linda Ikeji because she is rich. You hear them say things like "Linda Ikeji would not see a husband because she is intimidating"..lol but why??.. First of all, marriage is not an achievement. It's not a do-or-die affair.Marriage is not compulsory. And if you decide to get married, please!biko!Money should be one of your priorities, your money. Not your man's money.I'm not saying you should get married to someone who has nothing.Sure everyone wants a man that can spoil her with expensive shit. But shey you know you can spoil yourself too.Treat your goddamn self right

RAD FOR TRAD #1

Image
Calling out those who are proudly African or those who are African at heart!!! Inspired by the last Sunday that the 2015/16 final year students of Babcock University, we at Hassys world have decided to create this section due to our current obsession and hopefully full time love for traditional African outfits made with prints a.k.a. TRAD. Every fortnight we will post our current obsession. Because we love you guys so much, you get to participate by posting a picture of yourself on the current trend using the #HWRADFORTRAD             Trad has been existing since the time of our ancestors, sanyan, aso-oke, adire, akwoche, and recently Ankara, lace and everything in between. Nowadays, there has been a new spin on trad, with females wearing danshiki, agbada and caps, while guys now rock shirts that have pocket squares and drape pieces of fabric across their neck as a muffler or scarf.

7 THINGS TO DO BEFORE SUMMER.

Image
post by jayjay Folayan  Spring break is over and it’s the end of April, which means we’re in the middle of spring and summer is calling. Some of us are already anticipating summer. Well since most of us have broken our new year resolutions, get out your pen and paper, iPads, iPhones, Androids, Microsoft phones and make a new resolution; a summer resolution of things to do to make your summer fantastic. Here are 10 things to do before summer: 1.        PLAN UP:  Have a plan of what you want to do during the summer, hen night, shopping for school in fall, going on a road trip. Doing it with friends would be fun. Have goals you want to achieve by the end of summer (apart from making it best summer ever!!!) 2.        RESEARCH UP:  It’s not enough to plan. You also have to do research on what you are going to do. If you’re going on a trip, you have to know how much it costs. If it’s a summer job, or an internship, you have to do research on your options, their qualifications
